Lightning is Megaria's adopted sister. She was brought in by her father and ever since been his favorite. Lightning has very weak light related powers all the an produce are weak lasers and a teaser gun electric shock from her hands. Ever since she was brought into the palace lightning has dreamed of becoming queen but not being a natural child of the royal couple mixed with her delicate mental health and lack of battle experience meant that she had no chance of ever taking the throne. In revenge for her shattered dreams Lighting is taking advantage of every privilege her status permits. She spends insanely she has ridiculous demands sometimes even demanding someone's child if she feels that's what she wants at the moment. She's basically never satisfied.
Lightning often uses her influence to praise herself flashing her status and trying to pull rank on any occasion. She is an abusive master often hurting her servants scratching their faces and forbidding them from getting medical aid expressly to see their scars form. When cornered she tried to act innocent blaming things on her mental illness.
Her mental illness is a secondary effect of her electric power. Seeing as she has never trained to keep her power under control her electrical ability is permanently active over stimulating her brain and causing heavy mood swings her illness manifests in many ways sometimes she's restless sometimes she's extremely aggressive or bursting into a crying fit that lasts a few days. currently her illness is being kept under somewhat control with a medical inhibitor created by Chernabog which slows down her brain to relatively normal parameters.
She currently still resides in the palace under the her father's wing who is overly protective of her not letting anyone touch his little treasure. This is the main reason she lives a leisured life and has had the option of not training at all in the art o combat. Ytaining that is considered mandatory for all Maximov young.
Gossip on her: It is widely believed she is the natural daughter of Lord Syrus and a servant girl with no powers. This theory appeared when people saw just how protective he was of her to the point of neglecting his other kids. No one knows what has happened to her mother most claim she has fallen pray to the fury of her adoptive mother.
